I offer a full comprehensive course at my workshop & studio on a farm in the Southern Cape, South Africa. An all inclusive Knifemaking course weekend in the countryside that includes your accommodation and catering... 

On the course you will make your own forged knife, fitted with a handle. We cover everything from Forging Techniques, Heat-treatment, Blade Grinding and Polishing, Handle Construction, Finishing and Sharpening of blades. We will also be making a leather sheath to go with your knife...You will leave with a finished knife valued at about R2000    ​​
