~Custom Knives and Art Blades~
I started bladesmithing at the age of 18 when I started working as an apprentice under ABS Master-smiths, Kevin and Heather Harvey (Heavin Forge, South Africa).
After almost 3 years of full time apprenticing, I started my own workshop and I have been making blades ever since.
I also obtained my membership to the Knifemakers' Guild of Southern Africa in 2012.
My interest has always been historical pieces and particularity swords and daggers. I enjoy re-creating authentic pieces that are functional and based on historically accurate dimensions and styles but with my own creativity and style, to turn them into "Art blades" and collectable pieces.
I strive for perfection in my work and it is an ongoing journey to improve the level of craftsmanship.
I currently reside on a farm in the South Western part of the Eastern Cape in South Africa. This is where I have my workshop and also run knifemaking courses from time to time
